Jean de Mazac (civil name: Jan Mazak, *1977 ) - music composer and philosopher is author of a few operas, dramas with music, amphitheatrical works, a lot of symphonic, choir, and chamber music, and of a few philosophical works relating to the humankind and the arts, the basic idea of which is "the will to know". As a dramatist, he is founder of the new dramatic form - "drama with music" , following the reform of the opera / the musical drama by maestro Richard Wagner.

He graduated his studies of conducting, piano, and violoncello, which he finished with the thesis - his 1st philosophical work: "Melody-the law of music". As a self-taught composer he is writing the music since his age of seven.

In 2014, he won the 1st prize at the International composition competition in Czech Republic with his interactive singspiel "The Ugly Duckling" (the unique dramatic form that has never been created before).

The peak of his dramatic works is his drama with music in 5 acts - Cyrano de Bergerac and the great amphitheatrical musical drama "Coriolanus" (by Shakespeare's famous tragedy). As for the philosophy, his major works are: Homo altior and Prophecy on Superhuman.

A special place among his works takes his masterpiece Symphonia angelica for 2 grand orchestras, 6 tribunes, and 5 choirs, with a few additional and fully new instruments, wherein he has written TRIPLE FUGUE, which makes him the only composer besides great J.S.Bach who has written something like that and, moreover, for such a big cast.
